During my recent weekend getaway at Hotel Halászkert in scenic Badacsony, I found myself thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The location is simply perfect—within minutes of the lively Badacsony Strand, the railway station, and several local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploration. Accommodations were top-notch for the price point; my room was spacious, clean, and equipped with modern comforts, including a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private balcony that offered delightful views of Lake Balaton. Although I couldn't partake in the pool and hot tub facilities, they appeared to be clean and well-maintained—perhaps on my next visit with friends, we can indulge together! Breakfast was a highlight with an impressive selection of delicious options, served by attentive and friendly staff, adding a personal touch to the stay. I particularly appreciated the relaxing lounge area by the pool, ideal for soaking up some sun while sipping on a chilled drink from the reception. Having travelled extensively, I can confidently say that Hotel Halászkert Badacsony captured the essence of luxury with a dash of adventure, offering everything an outdoor enthusiast like myself could desire. I left wishing for a longer stay and look forward to returning!
